From 1981 until retirement in 2004, Chief Executive and Chairman of Performance Sailcraft, the Laser Builder.
Currently:- Free lance consultant to the International Marine Industry.
Project Manager (part time) for the ISAF Connect to Sailing project focussed on key strategies and delivery of country specific projects to bring Industry and sport together to reverse the decline in participation in sailing on a worldwide basis. Management Board Director and Vice President of British Marine Federation (BMF).
Chairman of British Sailing, a sector group within the BMF that represents the British Sailing Industry.
Member of the RYA Sport Development Committee.
Adviser to the Korean International Boat Show and to the Gyeonggi Provincial Government for the development of leisure boating industry activities.
